Experience a community that embraces everyone with the love of God. Bring your entire family to experience ministry tailored to every generation. Our “ministries” are an essential part of Queen’s Chapel United Methodist Church, as we provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another takes place. Considering that the early church worshipped in small settings – and in homes, we unite similarly to be in a deeper fellowship with God & each other.
Queen’s Chapel United Methodist Church is to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for community transformation so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation. As Jesus Christ works in and through us to fulfill our mission and pursue our vision, we expect to see results in two areas: Community Transformation and Next Generation Empowerment.
The mission of Queen’s Chapel United Methodist Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must orient around the glory of God and seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation.
Our Social Creed
We believe in God, Creator of the world; and in Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of creation. We believe in the Holy Spirit, through whom we acknowledge God’s gifts, ad we repent of our sin in misusing these gifts to idolatrous ends.
We affirm the natural world as God’s handiwork and dedicate ourselves to its preservation, enhancement, and faithful use by humankind.
We joyfully receive for ourselves and others the blessings of community, sexuality, marriage, and the family.
We commit ourselves to the rights of men, women, children, youth, young adults, the aging, and people with disabilities, improve the quality of life and the rights and dignity of all persons.
We believe in the right and duty of persons to work for the glory of God and the good of themselves and others and in the protection of their welfare in so doing; In the rights to property as a trust from God, collective bargaining; and responsible consumption; and in the elimination of economic, and social distress.
We dedicate ourselves to peace throughout the world, the rule of justice and law among nations, and individual freedom for all people of the world.
We believe in the present and final triumph of God’s Word in human affairs and gladly accept our commission to manifest the life of the gospel in the world. Amen.
